The primary goal of SPT is to provide coaches, professional players, and tennis enthusiasts with a precise tool designed to enhance performance. This tool offers a profound understanding of key metrics, meticulous movement tracking, and insights into progress and areas for improvement. For more details, please refer to the corresponding section on our homepage. Join us in the pursuit of tennis excellence, where Sport Performance Tracking transforms how we understand and optimize athletic performance.
For example, if we want to record the progress of a match, an external person must register each action and its outcome for a player.
Refer to the section ‘How to use SPT in a match’ for more details.
Yes, to use the application and later access statistics, assessment, and progress tracking, registration is required. You will need to register as a “Player.”
To register, within the menu, go to the icon right after “Edit Profile,” and it will take you to the login page. From that page, select “Register here!” In the Type of register field, choose “Player,” which is the default option, and fill in the requested information. Once the data is entered, click on the “Send” button. If the entered information is correct, it will display the message “To complete your registration, click on the link sent to your email address.” You’ll need to go to your email and click on the link as instructed to activate your registration. If everything goes well, a message on a new page will welcome you, and you can choose to go to the login page.
To record or register a match, we will select the ‘Performance’ –> ‘Tennis’ –> ‘Match’ option from the menu. If we haven’t logged in, the system will prompt us to do so. Once in the application, the first thing it will ask is to select our opponent. If we haven’t faced them before, we choose ‘New Opp.’ and enter their name. In case of previous encounters, we have the option, before starting the match, to ‘Start Match,’ or select ‘Opp. History,’ where we can view the history of matchups, results, and notes about the matches. To start a new match, we will select Performance -> Tennis -> Match from the menu. If we haven’t logged in previously, it will direct us to the corresponding page to do so. Once logged in, we return to the main menu and select the sequence mentioned above. On the displayed screen, it will prompt us to choose the opponent from the dropdown list, which should show the names of all opponents we have faced before. Refer to the section in the help guide, “How to register a new opponent,” if it’s the first time facing that opponent. We can also view the history of previous encounters with the selected opponent by going to the section “How do I view the history of my opponents?” That being said, to start a new match, once the opponent is selected, click on the “Start Match” button. Go to the “Help” menu option where a user guide for the application is provided.
Just go to Performance -> Tennis -> Match, from the menu. If you are not logged in, you will be directed to the login page, and once logged in, go back to the menu and select Performance > Tennis > Match again. Selectthe opponent name and click on “Opp. History” button. You will si all the previous matches played against the selected opponent. From here you can add, or update, the notes of any match. To do that, just change or enter a new text and click on the refresh icon.
